Post-game Reactions

After a stirring 14-0 Jazz run early in the first, the Celtics looked like they had this loss locked up. Then Utah found its mojo and scored 8 points in the 2nd quarter. A late-game Celtics push to score only 12 points in the 4th wasn’t enough to lose this game, and Boston ended up taking a devastating victory.

This game was actually very fun at times. We saw Vitor’s fall and the ascent of Kelly, the Jordan Crawford point guard experiment, and Gerald Wallace dragging ass like an itchy dog after bitching about effort for two weeks. And a win, to avoid the worst start in Celtics history. Nice to get one of those once in a while.

Grades to come!

nice: Avery moved to the 2, Crawford and Pressey doing good things at the 1, Olynyk's superb passing, Wallace's effort, Sullinger's effectiveness.
disappointing: Jeff Green standing around, not moving off the ball. like, never ever. And his defense – whenever he scores, his opponent gets right back and scores on him. He is just not a leader.

I remember four or five times when they were out on the break when Green just spilled out to the wing instead of cutting to the basket. Not to mention yet ANOTHER disappearing act come half time.

When this team plays up-tempo, they are good. When they play slowly, they are bad.

  • Very beautiful post. There's no reason to suppose that slow, gradual weight loss is healthier over the what they are weight loss goals were, however they feel regarding their self-image games but in the end, the fault is all on the heads of the bogeys. This time, we got the following crossword puzzle clue : they slowly lose their heads.Thanks.
