1:10 – 1:35 on Bass's interview was intense. You could see him literally sweating/wiping the sweat from his forehead trying to answer that question. LMFAO
They just played a game. They sweat.
Paul, understandably, wants guys to step up in the absence of others. We, understandably, want Paul not to turn the ball over. (I hope his pinch nerve isn’t kicking his butt.)
JC is understandably leading the 5th. I found myself saying “Jordan!” in a good way more often than not in this game.
Bass does a good Bass. Not throwing anyone under the bus (including himself).
This team is grappling with … everything … right now, and perhaps for the first time. Cut them some slack.
Rollers, it was a joke man, about his rebounding. Bass is a terrible rebounder for a big, he was sweating that question no doubt…lol.
That’s pretty much what I figured, Morpheus. I just took it to a little bit more serious place because some of these guys are really hard to read. What must they be thinking after an effort like that? I want to think it’s just a morale problem brought on by the injury plague, but even if that’s the case, they still have to find a way to break the funk. I mean, I still don’t understand how this very same lineup with mere addition of Courtney Lee gives Miami a run for its money one night, and then basically rolls out the red carpet right to the hoop for those irritating Knicks. Is it morale? Is it match-ups? Is the sweat in front of the cameras the reason it’s so hard to continue believing the company line out of some of these guys? Like I said, they just need to get out of this funk… and fast.
