You may have heard this somewhere over the past three days, but someone is celebrating a big birthday during this All-Star Weekend. The one and only Michael Jordan is celebrating his 50th birthday, and in case you were wondering, the Bobcats owner still holds the skills to beat Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in a game of one-on-one during practice.
While there have been countless tremendous tributes to MJ across the web this weekend, we figured it would be fun to take a look at a couple of our favorite Celtics-themed moments of Jordan during his incredible career. As expected, you don’t have to look much further than Jordan’s 63-point playoff performance at the Boston Garden for a game worth reflecting on. In case anyone forgets, despite Jordan’s heroics, the Bulls still lost this game.
There’s also another fun moment that no one mentions much. That, of course, is the game Larry Bird hit a game-winner jumper over MJ.
