Thumbnail: Well, here’s the good news. The Bulls are in the middle of their first relative tailspin this season, losers of two straight. They may or may not have their best player on the court for the first time in over two weeks. Whether or not any of that’s actual “good” news is up for debate.

Here’s the bad news. For the first time this season, Chicago find themselves on a two game losing streak. They’re mad, they’re angry, and they’re rested (in this adrenalized season, the Bulls have been granted a rare two days of rest heading into tonight’s game). Meanwhile, the Celtics are coming off a tough home loss to San Antonio last night. The game’s pace was up and down in the first half, and we’ll see if that has any effect on the legs of Ray, Paul, and Kevin tonight. Each played at least 32 minutes in last night’s loss.

Derrick Rose may not suit up, but he could. He probably will. And if he does, the Bulls are an incredibly difficult team to beat at home.

Prediction: If Rose does not play: Celtics 88 – Bulls 80. If Rose does play: Celtics 92 – Bulls 98

    GO C'S

  • CelticsBIG3

Celtics have a tough one here. Hope for a win tonight and on Saturday vs. Indy. I'll be in Beantown Sunday night to see em' try to finally vanquish Philly. Christ won't let the Celtics lose on Easter… Right?

  • someguyinsac

Rose or no Rose, I'm looking for the win!

    • someguyinsac

I'm also curious about how Bradley getting the start tonight works too.

  • onecowboytoo

    Rose is out.

  • onecowboytoo

    AB starting.

  • DocSucks

Look at Doc, when everything goes well, he's calling time out and giving out instructions. When things are not going well, what does he do? Nothing, he's just sitting on his ass and with lips tight shut, his eyes are saying: ohh here we go again, what should I do?

      DocSucks sucks

      • DocSucks

Didn't know you are such a Doc butt kisser. Enjoy the taste!

        • ripsonics

          You're an idiot

          • DocSucks

What? you don't like the taste of the cold sweat and losing off his butt?

  • tomrod

    please Rondo play defense!

  • BTRob

Sigh…two winnable games and we just threw them away…I blame it on Doc's silly starting line up change yesterday!

  • hansgruber

Back to being a mediocre team.

  • High Rollers

MP and a good night’s rest would have really pestified them. We’ll get’em.

  • Lantrell Walker

So two losses by a combined 8 points against two of the highest seeds in the NBA has people fretting & worried?
I'm disappointed they lost two very winnable games also, but let's not(some of us) act like the sky is falling, they're still atop the Atlantic & when the postseason comes & they're whole and healthy, mark my words, they'll be the mystery box that no one will want to open.

Thank you for talking sense. I believe that a little bit of adversity now will be beneficial once the postseason begins.

  • Josh

I'm a very negative Nancy, and these 2 losses really pissed me off because frankly, the C's gave both of them away. However, I gotta thank Lantrell for talking some sense into me.
