Avery Bradley Posterizes KD

In a week that’s given us precious few highlights, here’s one that’s legit. Avery Bradley goes coast-to-coast and finishes strong against a Kevin Durant contest.

  • Doc really should let Bradley play more. I know it seems like he just gets a few lucky plays but he's been consistently improving. Let him spend more time on the floor and keep getting better.

  • dunny dun dun

love the way this kid plays hard no matter what….if that was rondo that went up for the dunk he would have somehow managed to land on his hand, snapped his neck and be out for another two weeks.

    • Mark

Do people really need to beat Rondo down to prop Bradley up? I’ll say this, the grass isn’t always greener. Bradley is a nice player but he isn’t Rondo and won’t be.

So sick of the anti-Rondo attitude lately.

rondo's a baby…..at least avery's got some balls when he plays. plays the game like a man…not a ballerina that can make some nice passes every once and awhile. trade rondo, keep bradley

        • ghostfacekilllaah

rondo's defense sucks too by the way…..he's a circus clown loves to gamble for the highlight play. avery plays fundamental hard nosed defense, the kind you try to teach your kids.

          • Mark

Thats why Bradley barely kept Westbrook in front of him. For all this Tony Allen talk the only player he can keep in front of him are has-beens.

        • zach

          Rondo is an allstar. Period.

          • ghostfacekilllaah

            rondo has mentstrual periods. period

          • Jzc

Not period this year. Rondo is an all star reserve injury replacement. 3 modifiers. But he does play at an all-star level, no question.

        • Mark

Troll. That’s all you are. Bradley doesn’t win games.

          • ghostfacekilllaah

            neither does rondo your point?

Avery needs to get real, consistent, minutes. Even when Rondo is back. He gives the Cs something they lack from most of their players – he is a guy who can make plays. We doesn't look like a natural playmaker for others, but we don't really know much about it, because they clearly don't ask him to. When he brings the ball over half court, his first job is to get it to someone else to initiate the offense.

      * HE does look…

      • CG12

        gah – * he doesn't look like…

I know this is unrelated, but I feel bad for Josh Smith. He got snubbed TWICE. He should be in ahead of Joe Johnson in the first place.

Why has Celtics Hub gone the way of the Celtics?
We haven't seen a proper game recap in awhile, game previews are sporadic and we get one highlight from the OKC game?
Do we only get the good stuff when the Celts are winning?
Just asking coz I miss reading it…

I remember when I said Bradley shouldn't just be a throw in player in the West trade because I was worried that in New Orleans he might develop into something special since the PG spot might be open with them trading CP3. Everyone said I was crazy. Now everyone likes Bradley. I guess i wasn't that crazy.

I see a lot of talent with Bradley but I do not think that means the Cs should trade Rondo. I am not saying that trading Rondo is a bad idea either. If the Cs can get a young big in return for Rondo I say do it. If Utah picks up the phone and a deal can be struck to bring Favors and Millsap to Boston for Rondo and Bass then I say make that trade. Utah can then figure out what to do with Harris because I dont see the Cs wanting to add that kind of salary to the roster. Rondo is a great piece for the future if you can build around him. If not then they should try to get young pieces that they can build around.

    THAT WAS AWESOME. He's a baller y'all

  • IBleedGreen

I didn't know Bradley can jump like that before this game.
