Post-game Reactions

The Big Ticket will be in uniform for tomorrow’s night TNT showdown with the defending Eastern Conference Champions. Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports was the first to report the encouraging news just now via his Twitter account that the NBA just announced he will not be fined or suspended for his postgame scuffle with Bill Walker.

Also on the good news front, Ian Bagley of ESPNNewYork reported Bill Walker said that he and Garnett spoke after the game and cleared the air if you will. Good to hear cooler heads eventually prevailed.

Needless to say, Boston will have their hands full with this Heat squad anyway, so having KG ready to go gives them one less thing to worry about.

Didn't think they would have been stupid enough to suspend him this early in the season, but I'm surprised there wasn't a fine.

I'm did not think he would get suspended. I am shocked he didn't get some kind of fine though.

When you look into it, the scuffle happened once the game actually ended.. and it's not like KG tried to choke him it was quite brief.

So yeah the NBA could've fined him, but a suspension? Please…

Let's not forget that Stu Jackson, while re-watching the game, also saw Joey Crawford doin' work.. maybe he felt bad about it..

I`v e seen player get tangled like this during games and as long as punches are not thrown suspension or fines are not accessed to them at the most it would have resulted in a technical foul during the game and a possible ejection nd i`m not sure he would have even been ejected

    How about 0-3?

0-2 is a strong possibility with Pierce on the team…without it is very likely. However, let's look a bit beyond and say that 0-3 after a loss in NO (second night back to back – on the road) might be quite likely as well.

I want to see a 2-1 record after this 3 games road start to the season….but I'm expecting an 0-3 start….

what was the last Celtics team to start the season 0-3? Perhaps Celtics Hub could look it up?

The sad thing is that health issues with Green and Pierce hurt this team even before the season started!
