…it just may not be with the Celtics. Yahoo Sports! is reporting that Bradley is near a deal with Hapoel Jerusalem. Personally, I’m just stoked that he’ll be making some money/getting some playing time. For the Celtics’ sake, Bradley is going to have to grow up fast if they hope to contend with the NBA finally resumes business. Whatever the new collective bargaining agreement stipulates, it’s unlikely that the Cs will be able to maneuver around the cap as deftly as they are accustomed.
I’m hopeful Bradley can contribute to the Cs. I think he has a lot of raw talent, athleticism, and untapped potential. I’m assuming that getting some PT in Israel can only help Bradley hone his skills. We shall see.
Bradley becomes the third sort of Celtic to go overseas behind Nenad Krstic and E’twaun Moore. Like Moore and unlike Krstic*, it’s reported that Bradley will have an NBA-out clause. Hooray!
