Paul Pierce has emerged from his offseason vacation for an interesting interview with Celtics.com to help promote his foundations’ new health intitative FitClub34, to fight the epidemic of childhood obesity. Before The Truth gets to talking about this program, he covers a lot of ground with the Celtics.com reporter on the past, present and upcoming season. A few of the topics he covers include:
—What he learned in trying to defend an NBA title
—Thoughts on new acquisitions Marquis Daniels, Shelden Williams, and Rasheed Wallace
—How he is more confident about this team than the 2007-08 Championship team
—Reflecting on other contenders’ moves
There is also multiple entertaining cameos by Pierce’s dogs interrupting the interview as well as some footage of the Captain hula hooping. There is truly something for everyone in 8 minute interview.
You can check out both parts of the interview here.
